This policy explains what Valorwright Games LLC does with information when you use our website, valorwright.com, and our mobile game DNA Forge. It is written in plain language. We update this page when our practices change.
Who we are
Valorwright Games LLC is a small, 100% veteran-owned indie game studio in Kilgore, Texas. In this policy, “we” means the studio.
Privacy questions go to contact@valorwright.com.
The website
You can read the site without an account. We do not run ads. We do not use analytics, advertising cookies, or other tracking. These pages do not set cookies, and they do not load fonts, scripts, or images from another company.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub, as the host, may record basic connection data such as an IP address, browser type, and the page requested, in its own logs. That processing is described in GitHub’s privacy statement. We do not use those logs to advertise.
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you attach. We use that only to read what you sent and to reply. We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not run a newsletter.
DNA Forge
DNA Forge does not require an account. We do not ask you to sign in, and we do not run a player account system.
Your progress is stored on your device. We do not receive a copy of that progress. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data in your device settings, removes it.
The game is free to try and does not show ads. As it is currently designed, we do not put third-party analytics or advertising tools in the game. If that changes, we will update this policy before we ship the change.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
In-app purchases
If DNA Forge offers purchases inside the game, the app store that distributes the game processes the payment. As currently planned, that store is Google Play. The store handles your payment method under its own policy. Valorwright Games does not receive your card number or full payment details.
Google describes that processing in the Google Privacy Policy.
Children’s privacy
This website is a general-audience studio site. DNA Forge can be played without creating an account, and it does not ask for a name, email address, or other contact details.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe a child has sent us personal information by email, write to contact@valorwright.com and we will delete it.
How long we keep information
Email we receive is kept long enough to correspond with you, and deleted when we no longer need it. Game progress stays on the device, under your control. We do not keep a studio copy of gameplay.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site or the game changes. When we do, we change the effective date at the top of this page. The current version is always the one published here.
